Application
Would you like to study at the BHH? Then your path starts with finding a suitable training company. Anyone interested in integrated study and vocational training does not apply directly to the BHH, but to a company that partners with us. A higher education entrance qualification is required. The company selects a suitable applicant and concludes both a vocational training contract and a study contract with them. The applicant can then enrol at the BHH. The programmes are not subject to admission restrictions — there is no "numerus clausus" (NC).

Apply to the company for the integrated study and vocational training programme! Interested in a company that does not yet cooperate with BHH? Just ask! We are happy to support you on your way.

3. Study contract & enrolment
The company decides whether to take you on for integrated study and vocational training. You sign a training contract and a study contract, and enrolment can begin. We look forward to welcoming you!

What to expect
In the BHH study model, you can earn two qualifications in just four or four and a half years: a Bachelor's degree and a vocational qualification. By integrating the curricula, unnecessary duplication is avoided. You get the best of three worlds: 1. demanding practical skills at your training company, 2. broad knowledge of your entire occupational field at the vocational school, and 3. academic competencies and scientific methods at the university.
Support
The integrated study and vocational training model offers the opportunity for an experience-based educational pathway decision: within the first 18 months, you decide whether to continue with the combined study and vocational training programme. An educational pathway coaching service helps you to reflect on your experiences in studying and vocational training and to consciously shape your future educational pathway. Another advantage: no tuition fees, and you receive an apprenticeship salary from day one.
