What makes us special
At BHH, the equal status of academic and vocational education is put into practice. Founded in 2020, the university pursues an innovative concept that interlinks study and vocational training. There is close cooperation with the vocational schools and partner companies.
Study-integrated training enables two qualifications in just four years: vocational qualification and Bachelor's degree. The workload is based on a five-day week and students receive a training allowance from the very beginning. An educational pathway coaching supports students during the first 18 months.
Our programs of study
All programs at BHH follow the model of study-integrated training. Studies and vocational training are interlinked. This means that students at the Berufliche Hochschule Hamburg are at the same time apprentices with a training contract and a study contract at a company.

Find a partner company that offers integrated study and vocational training together with us.

2. Apply and be accepted
Apply to the company for the integrated study and vocational training programme! Interested in a company that does not yet cooperate with BHH? Just ask! We are happy to support you on your way.

3. Study contract & enrolment
The company decides whether to take you on for integrated study and vocational training. You sign a training contract and a study contract, and enrolment can begin. We look forward to welcoming you!

About BHH
At BHH, the equal status of academic and vocational education is put into practice. Founded in 2020, the university pursues an innovative concept that interlinks study and vocational training. There is close collaboration with the vocational schools and partner companies.
Students at BHH are at the same time apprentices and benefit from the best of three worlds: demanding practical skills at the training company, broad knowledge of their respective occupational field at the vocational school, and academic competencies for their occupational field at the university.
Study-integrated training enables two qualifications in just four years: a vocational qualification and a Bachelor's degree. The workload is based on a five-day week and students receive a training allowance from the very beginning.
Within 18 months at BHH, students can review the decision about their further educational path on the basis of their experience and supported by coaching.
